Greater Manchester's Mental Wellbeing Charity

Safe & Secure

Safe and secure

Throughout each session we are mindful that we may be discussing subjects that may encourage people to share their own struggles and difficulties. Indeed, sharing coping strategies and how people use creativity to overcome mental health issues is central to our work, but this must always be done in a safe and nurturing environment.

Therefore, we place safeguarding, plus the emotional and psychological safety, of our participants at the forefront of our work. We have clear processes and procedures in place to ensure people are safe and supported throughout our sessions and when leaving. If necessary, we will refer people to other services or places of support, staying with them throughout the process should it be required.
